So my review is from the perspective of someone swimming to get back in shape...but I take it seriously and am dedicated to continually improving from my current level. I started swimming 10 laps 3X a week, and I am now up to 3 miles/week [after 4 months]. When I got the fins 3 weeks ago I immediately started swimming more and longer. They are very comfortable, light, and relatively small, but generate a lot of force and speed. After the first few workouts, I could really feel it in the hip flexors and adductors. I can focus on the form for the arm stroke and the breathing. They make the workouts more fun and interesting...so far so good.
