Be weary of what size paddles you get. I'm in intermediate triathlete with decent muscle mass, so i got the large thinking it would build my pulling muscles more. It's definitely working for that purpose, but at the same time it might be too much when drilling.

I'm using the paddle for my semi-paralyzed left hand. I have modified it slightly, and take responsibility for my choice to do so. I cut it down, added some extra holes, and left it flat with no curvature. I thought of bending it a bit using heat, but was not sure how the brittle poly would react to it - maybe later. The single paddle in its tailored state is what I've needed all along. I just had to find a great pattern to start with. I have my missing hand back that helps me to swim better than before. Thanks!

The paddles are great. I was using solid stroke paddles. These give you a feel for the water. Its a great upper body work out and still holds your form. The number of options for the straps for comfort is great. The down side is not knowing how for forward or back to position the paddle. Almost too many postion options. It just takes time to perfect.
